Job Overview

Vizio AI is an AI-First Digital Transformation Studio helping companies unlock growth through data analytics, business intelligence, automation, and AI-powered solutions.
We design and build data infrastructure, analytics systems, and AI-powered applications for growing companies across different industries.
Our projects typically involve integrating fragmented systems, building reliable data pipelines, and enabling both analytics and intelligent automation on top of that data.
We are looking for an Applied Data Engineer who can build strong data foundations and also contribute to analytics and AI-driven workflows. We are looking for engineers who have built real data pipelines and integrations, not only dashboards or reporting layers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world data problems across different projects, and who is comfortable working across both data engineering and applied data science. 

What You Will Work On

  • Build and maintain data pipelines across client systems
  • Integrate data from APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, spreadsheets, and cloud services
  • Design and maintain data warehouse structures
  • Prepare reliable datasets for analytics, dashboards, and reporting
  • Support Power BI and analytics projects through backend data preparation
  • Investigate datasets to uncover business insights and patterns
  • Develop simple ML models or predictive logic when needed
  • Contribute to AI-powered workflows, including LLM-based solutions and RAG systems
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, broken integrations, and data inconsistencies
  • Document data architecture, integrations, and system flows clearly
  • Collaborate closely with our Tech Lead and delivery team



What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with Python and SQL
  • Hands-on experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
  • Experience integrating APIs, SaaS tools, databases, and external systems
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Ability to work across both data engineering and analytical workflows
  • Experience exploring datasets and extracting meaningful insights
  • Comfort working in fast-moving project environments
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Good communication skills in English



Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Azure data stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Functions)
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, or Dask
  • Experience supporting Power BI projects
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar relational databases
  • Exposure to LLM-based systems, RAG architectures, or AI pipelines
  • Experience working with product teams, consultancies, or startups

  • Building data pipelines from operational systems into analytics environments
  • Preparing backend data models for dashboards and executive reporting
  • Analyzing warehouse data to uncover patterns and insights
  • Supporting web applications with structured data layers
  • Building simple ML workflows and data-driven automation
  • Contributing to AI-powered data applications using LLMs
  • Improving or rebuilding unreliable integrations from previous vendors
