Role Summary 

As a Junior Finance and Operations Specialist (Part-Time), you will assist in managing financial operations, ensuring seamless client and vendor transactions. Your responsibilities will include handling invoices, managing financial records, and supporting tax compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level student to gain hands-on experience in finance and operations within a growing startup.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations:

• Assist in preparing and issuing invoices using Paraşüt, ensuring accurate client communications.
• Track and maintain financial records in Google Sheets with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Support salary and bonus processing while coordinating with CPAs for tax compliance.
• Collect and organize financial data using Google Sheets and ClickUp.
• Analyze financial metrics to identify inefficiencies and suggest cost-saving strategies.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments.
• Support account reconciliations and resolve vendor or client discrepancies.
• Assist with banking tasks such as deposits, withdrawals, and document submissions.
• Help prepare and submit Teknokent exemption reports.
• Assist in managing communications with Teknokent and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a top university, preferably studying Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (Google Sheets) with the ability to analyze and organize financial data.
• Previous internship or part-time experience in financial management, accounting, or operations is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from financial data.
• High attention to detail with a proactive and organized approach.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English (preferred).

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Power BI for creating dashboards and tracking financial metrics.
• Experience with automation tools to optimize workflows.
• Ability to design visually compelling financial reports to support decision-making.
• Basic knowledge of financial tools such as Paraşüt.
