What You’ll Do
We’re hiring a Marketplace Growth & Performance Marketing Lead to own and scale our Upwork channel and paid acquisition funnels across Google and LinkedIn. You’ll work across marketing, automation, and light design—building systems that generate qualified leads and increase our visibility across platforms.
Responsibilities
Gig Marketplace Growth (Upwork-first)
- Build job scanner systems and filtering logic to surface high-value leads
- Design AI prompts to automate and personalize cover letter workflows
- Optimize agency and freelancer profiles to increase invite and response rates
- Launch and manage Upwork Projects and Consultation Packages
- A/B test messaging, targeting, and profile layout for maximum impact
Paid Ads & Funnel Execution
- Run paid acquisition campaigns across Google Search and LinkedIn Ads
- Create or edit visuals in Canva for ads, landing pages, and Upwork assets
- Collaborate on ad copy, targeting strategies, and landing page flows
- Track campaign metrics (ROAS, CPL, lead quality) and iterate rapidly
Analytics & Marketing Enablement
- Build dashboards to track Upwork and ad performance
- Turn wins into case studies and project templates
- Create lightweight marketing materials (decks, 1-pagers, visuals) as needed
- Maintain content consistency across outbound, inbound, and marketplace listings
You Might Be a Fit If You…
- Have 2–5 years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or Upwork ops
- Know how to win deals on platforms like Upwork, not just apply
- Have run paid campaigns across Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Can confidently use Canva to create simple visual assets and marketing collateral
- Are fluent in A/B testing, conversion funnels, and automation tools like Zapier or Airtable
- Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper) to improve your speed and quality
- Communicate clearly, move fast, and think like an owner
