We help businesses streamline operations, optimize decision-making, and build cutting-edge digital solutions. While Upwork is currently one of our main sales channels, we are expanding to new outbound and inbound sales channels such as LinkedIn or email outreach.
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Sales Manager to take over and scale our sales operations. If you have a strong background in B2B sales and lead generation, and you’re excited about growing a high-performing sales team, this role is for you!
💼 Role & Responsibilities
As our Sales Manager, you will:
1️⃣ Manage & Optimize Our Sales Funnel
- Continuously optimize public profiles and company branding in coordination with marketing.
- Manage Scanners & Auto-bidders on GigRadar to capture high-value projects from 200K+ monthly job posts.
- Ensure that the sales team responds to Upwork and inbound leads quickly and efficiently.
- Stay updated on Upwork’s and LinkedIn's algorithms and trends through research and blog monitoring.
- Maintain efficient pipeline operations on Hubspot.
- Use automation tools such as Zapier, Make, and N8N. Understand the use of LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT and Claude) and their use in sales operations.
2️⃣ Lead Sales Operations & Team Development
- Conduct daily sales calls to review progress, set learning goals, and provide feedback to junior sales members.
- Provide hands-on coaching for sales team members in discovery calls and negotiations.
- Occasionally step into client calls when necessary to close deals or handle complex sales situations.
- Oversee requirement gathering and proposal preparation, ensuring quality and technical accuracy.
3️⃣ Expand Sales Beyond Our Existing Channels
- Research and implement new lead generation channels, potentially involving telesales operations.
- Develop strategies for outbound sales, LinkedIn outreach, and inbound lead nurturing.
- Work with the marketing team to improve inbound lead quality and engagement.
- Leveraging lead generation tools such as Apollo, Instantly, and Expandi to get new leads in our core service areas.
4️⃣ Ensure Sales Efficiency & Customer Engagement
- Monitor sales team performance to ensure timely and professional responses to prospects.
- Improve sales workflows and implement automation tools where necessary.
- Maintain strong relationships with prospects and guide them through the sales pipeline smoothly.
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of sales experience in B2B services (preferably in tech, automation, data, or web development).
- Fluent in English (C2+ level) – Powerful verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Upwork or other gig-based platforms (managing proposals, optimizing profiles, winning high-value projects).
- Lead generation & outbound sales experience (e.g., LinkedIn, cold outreach, email marketing).
- Strong organizational skills – ability to manage a small team, monitor performance, and improve processes.
- Basic technical understanding of software development, automation, or data analytics (so you can communicate effectively with prospects).
- Availability for late-night calls (to accommodate US-based clients) and occasional EMEA/APAC interactions.
Nice to Have:
- Fluency in Turkish (bonus for internal team communication).
- Familiarity with CRM, lead generation, and proposal automation tools.
- Previous experience scaling sales teams or setting up outbound sales.
